Laavan are for the union of soul with the Akal Purkh. Both male and female have to be committed to the teachings of Gurbani

Firmness with the Shabad are specifically required.
The relation of Affection love have to genrated by praises of Akal Purkh and acquiring His qualities.

Mind should be filled with divine love and desire to meet Akal Purkh

Constant attachment with Akal Purkh is required all the time through the Shabad Guru

Then only one can be one with the Akal Purkh.

Once both husband and wife are one with Akal Purkh with the help of Gurbani. They will have same opinion with the help of Gurbani. Then they will be able to develop a successful family system.

I partially agree with your answer.
4 lanvaans are basically 4 steps/levels towards unification with God.
But these 4 steps also applies to a woman who wants to get united with her man.
To explain the spiritual concepts, at several Guru Sahib has equated spiritual unification with social unification (between Man and Woman). Calling the soul a bride and God the groom with whom we want to get united.
ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬੋਲੇ ਚਉਥੀ ਲਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਵਿਨਾਸੀ applies to marriage (Unification) between soul and god, but was also equated and applied for man-woman marriage by guru Ram Dass ji
