What is the history behind the HAR KI PAURI in Darbar Dahib Amritsar?

A number of Sakhis are attached with, Har Ki Pauri, behind Darbar Sahib building, from where devotees take jal from the sarovar. You can find the same on the internet. However, these Sakhis, don’t stand the scrutiny of teachings, of Guru Granth Sahib, because the Guru Sahiban remained in Akalpurakh’s Hukam and didn’t subscribe to miracles. The basic principles of Sikhi are to become righteous/virtuous and remain in His Hukam. This is what is taught in the first Pauri of Jap Baani:

ਕਿਵ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ਹੋਈਐ ਕਿਵ ਕੂੜੈ ਤੁਟੈ ਪਾਲਿ॥ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ॥੧॥ (ਪੰਨਾ ੧)
