“King of Kings Guru Hargobind Sahib” the 6th Guru rescued 52 Raja’s from the prison of Gwalior. Jahangir gave the orders to capture Guru Sahib on the basis of false accusations. Guru Sahib came to the fort with their own will. When this news went to the sikhs a huge revolt was started against the Mughal Rular Jahangir. Jahangir got scared of the revolt and decicded to release Guru Sahib. He requested Guru Sahib to leave the fort. Hearing this the other Hindu Kings who were captured by Jahangir came to Guru Sahib and requested to help them and influence Jahangir for their release. When Jahangir came to release Guru Sahib, Guru Sahib refused to leave and said you will have to release the other Kings who have been in your prison from long time. Jahangir said that only those Kings will be released who will hold Guru’s lard or kalli or ( end of the clothes Guru Sahib Wore). To release them all Guru Sahib wore a chola with 52 kalliyan and 52 Kings were released with Guru Sahib. From that day Sikh’s Celebrate this Day as *Bandi Chord Divas*
