one of my Sikh friend wishes me happy dhanteras?

Dhanteras is a Hindu festival. Dhan means wealth and teras means 13. On this day people buy gold, silver, or utensils because it is known as Lakshmi mata and the Wealth’s devta Qubair’s Day. It means that if they are happy on this day they will prosper us with wealth the whole year. Because of these things all the people especially Indians around the world celebrate this day. But it has nothing to do with Sikhism.
