Respected Sukhjeet kaur Ji;
Thank you for asking a very deep question. The answer to your question in Gurbani are deep and perhaps can cover most of the Gurbani. and as explained by the preachers may differ,
Naamu: The entire Bani of SGGS teaches NAAMU, NAAMU in simple words, is the way the entire Creations functions.
Daan: A spiritual Daan is to teaach someone Gurbani, But then people also talk about material daan which is supposed to mean giving to the needy. For that kind of Daan please refer to the verse below,
In summary that Daan has minimal value.
Ishnaan: A spiritual Ishnaan, as per my understanding of Gurbani, is to emerse oneself into the message of Gurbani. People also talk about Ishnan at SAROVARs etc which a per Gurbani has a cleansing benefit but no spiriitual benefit.
However the last part of your question comes from the Gurbani Verse
Only those who earn their living by hard work (Contributing to the benefit of the Society) and share their earning with those in needs has understood the way of life.
If toy would like deeper understanding of the subject you may wish to join a Gurbani discussion group in your area.
Thanks
