In Sikhism and other cultures also we touch feet of elders for blessings.
We bow down to Guru Granth Sahib Ji only.
So why do people still follow Sant or holy men and bow down to them?
I believe this is wrong personally.
Kind shed more light on this dear scholars.
Dhanwad in advance.
Touching feet or bowing down in Sikhism

Thank you for asking a very pertinent question.
Yes, you already know the answer.
For Sikhs, Bani enshrined is Guru Granth Sahib is the True Guru and is to be followed in life.
However, the issue is that Sikhs hardly read Gurbani themselves. Of course, because they don’t read it, they don’t know the message of Gurbani. And hence they are all in the dark about it.
Now, these so called Sants also called Babas, are considered as holy people by the Sikhs ignorant of Gurbani message. Little do they know that these so called Sants and Babas are the most selfish individuals disguised as Sikhs, and are taking advantage of their ignorance of Gurbani. They, the Sants and Babas, become filthy rich while preaching control on LOBH (greed), a contradiction the ignorant Sikh population does not see.
But then, who can educate those who do not wish to learn themselves from the Guru Granth Sahib.
