ਸਾਡੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਵਾਪਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ?

ਜੇਵੇਹੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਦਾ ਤੇਵੇਹੇ ਫਲਤੇ ॥ AGGS 317
Jevehe Karam Kamavada Tevehe Falate ||
According to the deeds one does, so are the fruits one obtains.

ਓਨਾ ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਓਇ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਸਚੀ ਪੈਨਾਏ ॥ ਇਕਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਖੋਟੁ ਨਿਤ ਖੋਟੁ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ ਓਹੁ ਜੇਹਾ ਬੀਜੇ ਤੇਹਾ ਫਲੁ ਖਾਏ ॥
Una Halat Palat Mukh Oujale Ue Har Dargeh Sachi Painae || Ekna Andar Khot Nit Khot Kamaveh Uhu Jeha Beeje Teha Fal Khae |
True Guru is the field of righteousness (Dharam); as one plants the seeds, so are the fruits obtained. Those who plant seeds of good deeds, get ambrosial fruits of Truthfulness. Those plant seeds of cruelty get fruit of falsehood. That means humans can obtain knowledge and change their deeds (Karam) by acting on the spiritual knowledge and wisdom given by the True Guru. It is in our hands, not of the God.
