bought a new house not sure if to have Sukhmani Sahib path or Akaand path?

We must be thankful to Akal Purkh for whatever we get. Even this human life is a great gift. The main purpose is to study understand and follow the Hukam of Akal Purkh, so that one can become Sachyaar and lead a successful life. Gurmat does not accept any ritual whether it is related to Path or any type of meditation. Main purpose is to recite listen understand and follow Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib.
ਗਾਵੀਐ ਸੁਣੀਐ ਮਨਿ ਰਖੀਐ ਭਾਉ ॥ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਰਹਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਘਰਿ ਲੈ ਜਾਇ ॥ Jap – 2
We need to understand and follow the Hukam of Akal Purkh and try to go in the direction of becoming Sachyaar.

Hence, one can have a small get together where all can sit together to study and discuss Gurbani. The duration and topic can be mutually acceptable.

We must carry out Ardas also ourselves only, because Gurmat does not accept the agent system.
