      The definition of Akal Purkh (God) according to Gurmat is.
      ੴ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ Jap – 1
      According to this definition, a man or any physical entity cannot be Akal Purkh (God). Neither he is born and nor dies.

      ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਮੁਢਲਾ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ Basic Principle of Sikhism is:
      ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ
      Following the Hukam and Will of Akal Purkh according to which whole universe is functioning and it is destined for the human beings

There is nothing in this philosophy that address human consciousness, how to be spiritually awakened , good human being, kind, compassionate, loving. GURBANI address the human consciousness . Spiritual philosophy of GURU NANAK says BALIHAREE KUDRAT WASIA meaning GOD IS THE EMBODIMENT OF THE LAWS OF NATURE, EVERY EVENT IN THE UNIVERSE, INCLUDING OUR CONSCIOUSNESS HAPPEN ACCORDING TO DIVINE SYSTEM, GURU CALL HUKM. SPIRITUAL PHILOSOPHY OF GURU NANAK IS COMPLETE IN THIS SENSE.
