Can today's youth expect their child to embrace the identity of a Singh without adopting the Sikh lifestyle themselves? Is it possible, or does it require a personal commitment to align physical and spiritual virtues with Sikh principles?

In response to your question, the undersigned wants to say that, as per teachings of Guru Granth Sahib, a child is born with a clean slate and doesn’t bring a baggage with him. The parents are the first and best teachers, who help him to build up his consciousness (mind), which runs his life on growing up. Therefore, the parents need to set an example, with their commitment to Sikh values, which include physical saroop as also running their life, as per teachings of Guru Granth Sahib.
