**WJKK WJKF Sangat Ji. My parents are against my marriage to a Singh due to caste, even though we are all Amritdhari. They gave me an ultimatum to choose between him or them. I love my parents but don't believe in the caste system. Is it acceptable to leave them if they won’t compromise, or will it be a Paap? What should I do?**

      The undersigned is of the opinion that since your parents are opposing a decision, which is as per Gurmat, therefore, it will be desirable to forego the attachment with the parents, as no alternative seems to be available.
