Is achieving higher spirituality really about merging with the Creator? I think it's a misconception. The Creator sees us always connected, continuously transforming in the circle of life. We never un-merge; we're always part of the Creator and creation. Thoughts?

Muskaan Kaur ji, in undersigned’s opinion what you say is right. When He comes and sits as ‘Jot (Atma)’ in us, we take birth. As long as He gives us strength, we live. As and when He withdraws the strength, we die. At that point of time, the ‘Jot (Atma)’ merges with Him. The five elements of which the body is made off, merge with five elements and nothing is left. What happens to ‘Jot (Atma)’, thereafter, no one knows.

The main issue, however, is whether one takes direction from Him and the individual becomes a ‘Gurmukh’ or one takes direction from the mind (ਮਨ) and becomes a ‘Manmukh’.
