Respected Lovepreet Singh ji,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
In response to your question, the undersigned wants to bring to your notice that breathing exercises are part of yoga etc. and each individual may be practising exercises of his own choice.
Guru Granth Sahib, however, teaches as under:-
You can see that, in these Pangtis, Guru Sahib is guiding us that I don’t know which yoga practices can help in bringing the body under control and making you happy i.e. with yoga practices, Akalpurakh can’t be pleased.
In view of the position, you can see that the breathing exercises can be done by an individual, for health purposes, but the same have nothing to do with spirituality.
Hope it helps. If you have any further questions, please do ask. If you find any deficiencies, please point out the same, for improvement in future.
Regards,
Your Brother
