A Sikh is supposed to have Nirmal Fear. Like a father and son relation. i.e affectionate fear.
We have to adopt the qualities of Akal Purkh and live according to His Hukam in our practical life.
GOD , THE SHABAD GURU IS THE BEST FRIEND HUMAN BEING CAN ASK FOR, PURE LOVE AND COMPASSION AND WILL NEVER FAIL YOU.
1st fear then friend
Most religions who believe in one God or multiple gods make us feel that we should fear God, but Gurbani tells us that we should love ੴ, because ੴ is our life, friend and everything.
we are instructed to become Nirbhau by adopting this quality of ੴ ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ ।
ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ, which resides within all of us, and is very fair and loving to us if we are fair and just towards the creation of the ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ।
I agree with the explanation of S. Sarabjeet Singh.
There are two types of fear:
1. Negative fear: we feel threatened, feel at risk (for example: In front of some animals)
2. Positive fear: fear of losing someone, fear of making your loved ones annoyed
Positive Fear we need to have towards God.
A son loves his father, but he always carries the fear (not to make him angry)
