I am unable to find any refernce in Gurbani to where should a couple gets married, in Gurduara or elsewhere.
A Sikh, who beleives in GURBANI enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib Ji, while taking wedding vows in presence of Guru Sahib, will feel more committed and satisfied.
For a person not believing in the message of Guru Granth Sahib ji, it is just a ritual.
About such a ritula. Gurbani message is:
(Those who just go throught he ceremony are called husband and wife, only those who are united in thought ,in two bodies, are truly husband and wife.)
