Satgur means Parmaatma / Akaal Purakh.
Dayal means Merciful / Meherbaan.
When the Guru is merciful, then our desires are fulfilled and our mind is always in peace.
Gurbani says that the Almighty ie ੴ ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ also called Parmatama or Akal Purukh or even Waheguru etc has no desires and is not bothered as to what is happening anywhere or to anyone in the world.
Also ੴ is neither a He or She !!
Question of ਏਕੰਕਾਰੁ desiring does not arise at all, because everything that is happening is as per a System of the Nature ਹੁਕਮੁ, ordained once for all, and for ever.
As per Gurbani and Japuji Sahib ……
।।ਵਡਾ ਦਾਤਾ ਤਿਲੁ ਨ ਤਮਾਇ।।
।।ਨਾਨਕ ਵਿਗਸੇ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ।।
।।ਜੋ ਕਿਛ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੋ ਏਕਾ ਵਾਰ।।
