Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

In response to your question, the undersigned wants to say that there is no prohibition on wearing any jewellery in Sikhism. No malas, however, are required for meditation in Sikhism. Please read what Kabir ji has to say with regard to meditation using mala:-

ਕਬੀਰ ਜਪਨੀ ਕਾਠ ਕੀ ਕਿਆ ਦਿਖਲਾਵਹਿ ਲੋਇ ॥ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਹੀ ਇਹ ਜਪਨੀ ਕਿਆ ਹੋਇ ॥੭੫॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 1368}

ਅਰਥ: ਹੇ ਕਬੀਰ! ਤੂੰ ਤੁਲਸੀ ਰੁੱਦ੍ਰਾਖ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ (ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ) ਕਿਉਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਂਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, (ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਫੜੀ ਹੋਈ) ਇਸ ਮਾਲਾ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਲਾਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ।75।

कबीर जपनी काठ की किआ दिखलावहि लोइ ॥ हिरदै रामु न चेतही इह जपनी किआ होइ ॥७५॥ {पन्ना 1368}

अर्थ: हे कबीर! तू तुलसी रुद्राक्ष आदि की माला (हाथ में लेकर) क्यों लोगों को दिखलाता फिरता है? तू अपने दिल में तो परमात्मा को याद नहीं करता, (हाथ में पकड़ी हुई) इस माला का कोई लाभ नहीं हो सकता।75।

Kabeer, why do you show other people your rosary beads? You do not remember the Lord in your heart, so what use is this rosary to you? || 75 ||
