The word Ram is generally used for Akalpurakh in Gurbani. However, in some places it has come as Dashrath ‘s son Ramchandra, a Hindu deity.
IkOnkar is One with many names for IkOnkar, One to Many names and than back to One. Ram, Har Har Har, Gobind, Allah, etc… are so many names. I have my name and you have your name and we both have souls, connected with Master Soul, IkOnkar. If my soul becomes One with Master Soul 100% then that becomes like Ram, my name. IkOnkar SatGur Parsad. IkOnkar Humanity. IkOnkar Hukam.
