      Veer ji,
In SGGS Ji the bani is not named as Rehraas. The name did become famous because the bani was called as Sodar Rehraas. According to the Panthak Rehat Maryada (1945) which is printed under SGPC Amritsar, in that the version of Rehraas is as given below,
SO DAR to SARAN PARE KI RAKHAH SARAMA,
CHAUPAEE – KABYO BAACH BENTEE CHAUPAEE (hamrikaro haath de rachchaa to dusht dokh te lehu bachaee),
SAWAIYAA – paane gahe jab te tumre tab te kooo aankh tare nahiaanyo,
DOHRA – sagal duaar Kay chhaad Kai gahyo tuhaaro duaar,
ANAND SAHIB – First five and last pauree of ANAND SAHIB,
MUNDAAVANEE M5 AND SALOK M5 – TERA KITA JAATO NAHI MAINO JOG KITOI.
The above lines are the version of our PANTHAK REHAT MARYADA and this version is the one which should be followed.

Sorry Veer Narinder Singh Ji, I read your reply late.
This Bani contains Bani of 1st, 4th, 5th Patshahis. There is no written evidence as to how this Bani got its name. It is just an idea that this name has been taken from the word Rahras in this Bani. At the time of Pancham Patshah, the name of the Bani So Dar was not Rehraas, because if that was the case then the index in SGGS would have the name Rehraas instead of So Dar. But some historical researches show that at the time of Dasmesh Pita ji the name of this Bani was prevalent as Rehraas. Because it is mentioned in the writings of Bhai Nand Lal Singh Ji:
          *ਬਿਨ ਰਹਰਾਸਿ ਸਮਾਂ ਜੋ ਖੋਵੈ*
But with the change of time, the name of this Bani became Rehraas.
Veer ji, I hope you will be satisfied with this answer.

I am not convinced with the answer that Deras / so called Institutes have done so! Sikhs throughout the world use Gutkas for reciting Nitnem/bani. There has to be more logical answer to my question!? I will appreciate to have views from other experts too.
