      Respected Jio;
      As per Gurbani, this body is gift of the Creator.
      ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਾਸਿ ॥॥ (ਮ:੫, ਪੰ:੨੬੮)
      Keeping the body and mind fit is our responsibility.
      Sikhi does not forbid any food that will keep one healthy. Only forbidden items are when the use will alter one’s thinking and take one away from concentrating on the NAAMU / HUKAM.
      ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਭੇਟਿਐ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਵੈ ਜੁਗਤਿ ॥
      ਹਸੰਦਿਆ ਖੇਲµਦਿਆ ਪੈਨµਦਿਆ ਖਾਵੰਦਿਆ ਵਿਚੇ ਹੋਵੈ ਮੁਕਤਿ ॥੨॥ (ਮ:੫, ਪੰ:੨੧੬)
      As per Nanak, surrender yourself to the HUKAM of the Creator, that is the completes the way of life,
      One attains salvations doing all the normal activities like laughing, playing, dressing up, and enjoying food.

      I think these kind of beliefs are real set back to spreading the divine message of SGGSJI. What is the logic that says you cannot take fish oil capsules as medical treatment. There is nothing in GURBANI prohibiting this. Some ignorant will tell you killing of any life is against GURBANI DOCTRINE. GURU says JETE DANAI ANN KE JIA WAJH NA KOAI meaning any food we eat has millions of organisms in it. Let us rise above these delusional beliefs that is holding SIKH YOUTH to adopt SIKHI WAY OF LIFE
