What is more important learning to read panjabi
or learning Kirtan?
As a child a was forced to do both.
I had no interest in learning Kirtan.

      if u will follow the Thinking of mata gujri ji then you will not have to force your kids for doing something related to Sikhism

      Learning Gurmukhi is much more important than Kirtan.

      If you know Gurmukhi then you can understand Gurbani, otherwise it is all spending and passing of time.
