It is not a GUrbani Philosophy question:
It is an anniversary of the day when the POOTHI SAHIB was first installed at the Darbar Sahib Amritsar. It was not called POTHI SAHIB and not Guru Granth Sahib at that time.
Rest is just a terminology.
