why celebrate Dushara at Takhat shri Hazur sahib
Since we still waiting for subject experts to reply. I share my learning and understanding. For sikhs, all days are same. Only that day, hour, minute, second or a moment is significant which is spent in praise or remembrance of waheguru. There are many references available on this in SGGS.
Unfortunately, many festivals of Sikhs falls around the same festivals of parallel ritualistic religion. This is just coincidence or any scientific reason, I am not sure. Another consideration can be a business model. Now question arises, do we celebrate gurupurabs?
but before that ask, why majority gurdwaras overseas celebrate gurupurabs on Sundays only?
The word “GOLAK” has very powerful impact in our religion. Gurudwara clashes are very common now.
If we want to celebrate, lets celebrate by reading, understanding, comprehending, implementing and then spreading the SHABAD of SGGS.
Rather spending your Daswand on matar-paneer spent on education and research.
