ਜੈਕਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਵ ਬੋਲੇ ਸੋ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਸਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ
ਸਤਿ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਸੱਚ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਵ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ
ਅਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਕਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਮਤਲਬ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ, ਰੱਬ , ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ
ਸੋ ਪੂਰਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਏਗਾ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ ਉਹੋ ਹੀ ਨਿਹਾਲ(ਸਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ) ਦੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
Jaikara initially means ‘BOLE SO NIHAAL SAT SRI AKAAL.’
To understand this firstly we have to know meanings of the words.
Sat – Truth
Sri – Sarvottam (Best/ Highest)
Akaal – Timeless (Parmaatma/ Rabb/ Akaal Purakh, Is said to be akaal/ timeless)
So the actual meaning of Jaikara is –
Whoever follows and sing the virtues of the Akaal Purakh (which is timeless and the Best/Highest) will always remain in a state of eternal bliss (Nihaal).
