I’ve heard a lot about Sikhism and find it really interesting and would like to know how I can convert?

Hi there, I am a Christian man who lives in Australia and have a Christian background. I am afraid that my family may not like me following Sikhism instead of Christianity. Any advice regarding this is welcome and needed. Thank you.

      My dear you do not have to convert. Any human in this world can be SIKH. All you need to do is to change
      . your thought process and live life according, to SPIRITUAL PHILOSOPHY OF SGGS. Tell your family that you are meditating on ONE AND ONLY (GOD) universal reality, the pure truth. You no longer look outward, pray to external supernatural deity for salvation, inner peace and bliss. You begin to meditate on UNIVERSAL REALITY, DIVINE WISDOM that is within all of us. Tell your family that you have leaned that whole humanity have origin in ONE, THE SOURCE and that you have began to love fellow humans as equal, my own. You begin to experience heaven in your life here and now, not after death. You begin to love the universe, the nature. Tell your family that I am in love with NANAK , THE GURU. Do not leave your parents, your family, show them love and respect.. Now you are a SIKH MY FRIEND.

      Respected Anonymous;

      Thank you for your interest in SIkhi (AKA Sikhism). Yes, it is normal for your family to want you to stay Christian.
      However, faith is a personal matter not hereditary otherwise Christ would have been a Jew.
      I can help you with advice on SIkhi, and put you in touch with members of Sikh community in or near your town. They will greatly help you with what you might need. However, handling your parents would have to depend upon the situation as it develops.

      May we write to you on your personal email address?
