      It is a personal choice. Guru Nanak Ji says, “Maas Maas Kar Moorakh Jhagray Gian Dhian Nahi Jaanay. Kaun Maas kaun Saag Kahaavai Kis Menh Paap Samaanay.” Gurdwara Langar is for everybody; a pandit, a Muslim, a Bodhi etc. So it is not served in the gurdwaras. There are many quotations in gurbani, if you need more clarity let me know.
