For entering Gurudwara Sahib, there are some rules like one can’t carry tobacco, cigarettes, liquor etc. Similarly, in undersigned’s opinion, it is not desirable to take the pets inside the Gurdwara Sahib because they may hurt someone or make the Gurdwara Sahib hall dirty. Opinions can be different but certain etiquette has to be maintained.
As far I know I would say instead of bringing a dog to Gurdwara Sahib if he would have bring any of his family member’s or a small child He could get more and more blessings of ੴ. I’m also a animal lover but logically when you can’t take dogs to school airports offices hospitals and more places then how can someone can take an animal. I think he is trying to copy or may be respected Hindu religion where Snakes rats monkeys and other animals worshipped.I’m not against their belief but in Gurus period Horse was the best friend of our Sikhs soldiers but I never heard of anything where animals are taken to Gurdwara Sahib.I have given the answers according to my wisdom which Guru has granted me.Many thanks JDee cingh
