      Very good question:
      I am unable to find any answer to your question in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Bani, except that Guru Sahib state so.
      The answer to your question is, only the Creator, KARTA PURAKH, knows how it is possible.

      The spiritual philosophy of NANAK does not say GOD CREATED ITSELF. NANAK says that SHABAD, THE UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY, ESSENCE OF LIFE existed itself (SAIBHANG), before anything else in the universe (AAD SACH) . The UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY manifested itself in the UNIVERSE. It is mistake to say GOD CREATED THE UNIVERSE, GOD THE FORMLESS MANIFESTED ITSELF IN THE UNIVERSE.
