GUR SATGUR KA JO SIKH AKHAEEE S BHALAKE UTHE HAR NAAM DHIAVYA.
Q1: What is “Naam DHIAVYnAa”?
Q2: Is it doing Daily nitnem or doing mantra meditation or something else.
Q3: if it is daily nitnem, then how it is not different from any other ritual.
Q4: I don’t do daily nitnem anymore. I used to do it every day but don’t feel it doing now, instead I do read SGGS ( at home) and use it as a tool to improvise myself. is I am doing right?
My apologies in advance, in case I hurted anybody sentiments.
You have raised very important point. WHAT NAAM DHIAWAI MEAN. BHALKAI literally mean day after, that is everyday. As you said it is about reading a SHABAD yourself, understand its meaning, divine message and try to live in daily life. I personally do the same. I strongly believe doing NIT NEM without understanding changes nothing.
Kandola Sahib has explained it very nicely. To add If I buy a book authored by Harrison to become a medical doctor, cover it with a beautiful cloth, put on a table, sit and chant the name of the author Wow (Wah) Harrison, will not make me a doctor. I will have to open the book, read it, understand it and work hard to implement what I learnt from the book to become doctor. Once I become doctor, then automatically it will come from my mind (Mann) Wow (Wah) Harrison. Just reading the book and doing path without understanding is of no use.
