i made lots of delicacies and lovely food.
I’ve cleaned my kitchen, now o lord please come consume this food.
as kirpan khando kharag tupak teg ar teer,
saif sarohi sahiti ye hai hamare peer
swords, broadswords, knifes, guns , arrows, daggers , weapons these protect me , these are my guru
in short kirpan itself is our guru and when we make food with clean mind and emotions. we invite our guru and god to have the food we made.
moreover there are hukamnamas to bhog laao from shastra.
bhul chuk maf krni.
waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki Fateh ❤️????????
There is no concept of offering physical food to the Guru in the current Sikh Guru, Bani enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. At the same time cutting of Parshaad / food with Kirpan has no mention in Gurbani.
The Bani is not physical body with hunger for the physical food. Therefor offering food makes no sense.
As per Gurbani enshrined in Guru Granth Sahib, our current Guru:
ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰੇ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਾਰੁ ॥੭॥(ਮ:੧, ਪੰ:੨੨੩)
(Service of the Guru is to contemplate on Guru’s message, and getting rid ego be the essence of your efforts)
okay
Using any weapons to make a cut in a platter of Karah is symbolism of cutting off the throat of a sacrificial animal or human to please a particular God who is in the habit of being pleased with any sacrifice.
It is a useless ritualistic practice of outdated religions.
None of our Gurus started this ritual, and it should be stopped forthwith after suitable discussions amongst our aware Sangat.
