I saw a Giani stir patissa in water with a khanda while reciting Japji Sahib, then give it as Amrit to a baby and others. No Panj Pyare, no Maharaj, no Rehat Maryada. Is this a real ceremony? What's going on?

      No, there is no such maryada. This has been created by Bhais/Granthis obviously for their vested interests. Vigilant Sikhs should not fall prey to such karamkands.
