I noticed that some Sikh people put Tilak on their foreheads. Can anyone comment on whether Tilak has any significance in Sikhism?

Veer Hardeep Singh Ji,
In Sikhism, there is no concept of any sort of tilak. The tilak we have to apply is told by Gurbani to us:
jugat dhōti surat chaukā tilak karanī hōi.
Meaning, We have to put the tilak of good virtues, good habits, high and good character, and with good deeds. This is the true tilak for every human being, no matter who they are.
Thank you
There is no acceptance of any such ritual in Guru Granth Sahib, as clearly described in the following Shabad.
Akal Purkh can not be pleased with such appearance, like giving a toy to the child.
We have to build good character, virtues and analysing power with the help of Gurbani.
Thank you
tilak has no significant But definitely it is against gurmat and a karamkand
