I have to get an MRI soon and I suppose I’ll have to remove kara and kirpan? What should i do?

      My suggestion is do IkOnkar Mool mantra and remove Kara and kirpan, get your MRI done, do IkOnkar Mool mantra and put back Kara and kirpan.

      There is no harm in removing the metallic items during these tests.
      Magnet also works according to the laws of nature.
      More important is to control the five Sins and adopt the virtues.

      I think the important point is this, why it came to your mind that you could not remove KARA OR KIRPAN. This certainly is not against GURMAT. I believe you were told not to remove these KAKARS under any circumstances. These are CLERGY made dogmas, rules that scare away youth of today from GURMAT. Removing KAKARS under certain circumstances and putting on back, there is nothing wrong. Unfortunately 95% of SIKHS believe in these UNGURMAT RULES.

      ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਜਹਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾਨ ਉਤਾਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਕਈ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਤੇ ਕੜਾ ਵੀ ਉਤਾਰਨਾਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਿਉਰਟੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਕਿਉਰਟੀ ਚੈਕ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਸੀਂ ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਕਕਾਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ । ਇਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਐਮ. ਆਰ. ਆਈ . ਵੇਲੇ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ, ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਵਹਿਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਣਾ।
