I live in the UK and wear winter hats. Are Sikhs prohibited from wearing caps or hats? Is this Shabad from SGGSji?

      Veer g this shabad not from SGGS and nor from Dasam granth, this from rehat nama bhai parhlad singh,if its true most of people will born with leprosy because in childhood every sikh baby from 1 to 5yrs or more they wear winter cap and mostly sikh in winter when they remove turban they wear winter cap.and i believe no guru can write such a words.

      This line you wrote above is not in the SGGS. For a Sikh Dastar is very important. Since I don’t know the climate of the UK. It is best that you wear Dastar outside of your house. But when you are in the confines of your house you can wear your winter cap.
      However, the choice is yours.
