      Dear Jasmeet Kaur ji,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

A Sikh is a student, a learner all his life and hence can study about other religions as well. As understood by the undersigned, he can apply the touchstone of the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib and imbibe those good things, from other religions, which are in line with the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib.

Further, please read the Shabad of Fifth Guru Person Guru Arjun Sahib in Raag Kanra, which is located at Panna 1299 of Guru Granth Sahib and its meanings.

In this Shabad Guru Sahib is teaching us that Akalpurakh is present in all the people and all are my own i.e. no one is my enemy. In other words, Guru Sahib is guiding us that we the Sikhs are to consider all humanity as one and are not to look down upon any one because the routes of people may be different but the ultimate destination of all is the same. It is possible that one has adopted a long route and may become tired enroute, without reaching the final destination. Still, we should consider all humanity to be our own.

Hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please do ask. If you have find any deficiencies, please point out the same, for improvement in future

      Regards,
      Your Brother

Sikhism respects all religions and considers them different paths to reach the same destination ( comprehending the ultimate truth).

GURU NANAK never criticized other religion or faith. GURU however have strongly condemned exploitation of common people by BRHMAN, PANDIT, MULLAN, KADI, YOGI AND SUCH OTHERS. GURU says KADI KOOR BOL MAL KHAE. BRAHMAN NAWAI JIA GHAE. YOGI JUGAT NA JANNAI ANTH. TEENAI UJARE KA BANDH.
