The Sikhi Theory of Creation is totally different from Christianity, Now the Science agrees with it.
Some of the relevant references from Gurbani are:
ੴ , first Created Itself, then Created the laws to govern the Creation,
Secondly after Creating this Universe, has emersed in it and is enjoying it.
Initially there was nothing but dark cloud, there was no earth, no sky and nowhere was the order. There was Sun, no Moon, days or nights. Everything in a state of Stillness.
From the ੴ , then slowly appeared the atmosphere, from atmosphere sprung the water. All the life started with water and the Creator is in every life.
I agree with above answer. Gurmat believe in Big Bang Theory.
AGGS 3
Kita Pasao Eko Kavao || Tis Te Hoe Lakh Dariao ||
Guru Nanak explains that from the Big Bang, God created this universe including the galaxy where we live. With that came sun, moon, earth, air, water, day, night (time), days, and seasons.
