I believe that LIVING THE HUKAM ( WILL OF GOD) if properly understood can change our life for the better. GURU says EKO NAAM HUKAM HAI meaning living according to teachings of GURBANI. More practical aspect of living the HUKAM is this. GURBANI says HUKMAI UNDAR SABH KO BAHAR HUKAM NA KOYE meaning everything that happens with us, happens within and according to the unchangeable laws of nature. When one jump up comes back to ground no matter who the individual is, black, white, Hindu, Muslim or any other. GURBANI then says CHINTA TA KEE KIJIAI JO UNHONEE HOAI meaning why worry when event in our life happens according to HUKAM, and nothing ever happens in violation of laws of nature. Living the HUKAM is then accepting situations as these arise in life and then find solutions, remaining calm, positive and stable under any situation. GURBANI empower us to be able to deal with situations. .
