I am unable for find any direct reference to KARAAH PARSHAAD in Gurbani of SGGS.
Not sure if there is record of start of KARAAH as PARSHAAD in Sikhi.
However, PRASAAD is common to other faiths in one form or the other. I have not seen KARAAH being distributed as PARSHAAD in other faiths.
The KARAAH PARSHAAD, a very nutritious food for the visitor, is most common among the forms of PARSHAAD shared at Gurduaras, Other forms of PARSHAAD distributed at Gurduaras are: PATAASAY, GHUNGANIA, PHULLIAN, MISHREE, SHAKKAR etc.
