How can we show respect to Gurbani when using a laptop, tablet or smart phone?

      I believe true respect for GURBANI is to follow the teachings in daily life.

      As per Gurbani, I am not aware of any reference to any specific body positions to express one’s respect.
      Culturally yes, one must cover one’s head and sit down calmly and listen to Gurbani.
      However, one can listen to Gurbani while going about one’s daily chores as well.
      The source of Gurbani is hardly a matter. It could be Guru Granth Sahib, Gutka Sahib, or your electronic source.
      True respect for Gurbani is to understand and live the message.
      ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
      ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰੇ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਾਰੁ ॥੭॥ (ਮ:੧, ਪੰ;੨੨੩)
      To serve the Guru, one needs to contemplate on the SABD. Eliminate the ego and the essence is in your actions.
