How can we persuade kids to learn Punjabi?

I live abroad and my kids don’t speak Punjabi as their mother tongue is English.

      Depending on their age, start with their names and teach alphabets contained in them.
      Then teach them to sign or write their own names in Punjabi.
      Later to write parents Mama and Papa, also Dada ji ……… and so on.

      Then you could start formal language learning course even online tution.
