At the temple, I've noticed some people fold their hands and sit for a few seconds before or after bowing to the Guru Granth Sahib. What's going through their minds? Are they saying a quick prayer? Bowing to the Guru Granth Sahib means complete surrender of your ego and complete acceptance of whatever happens in one’s life. Praying means connection with the ultimate authority. How one does should not matter. The real thing is the feeling behind every act.
