On some occasions I’ve visited family and friends that have a prayer area with pictures of different gods and also statues different dietites.
I don’t know if this right or wrong.
But do you gain faith in One God then?o

      Great Question Bani Kaur Ji!

      Sikhi does not believe in pictures and statutes. Sikhi believe in one God. Here are the attributes of our Creator according to Guru Nanak in the begining of JUP.

      1ਓ Satnam Karta Purkh Nirbhao Nirvair Akaal Moorit Ajooni Saibhang Gurparsaad

      THE ONE OMNIPRESENT GOD WHO IS IN EXISTANCE EVERYWHERE, THE CREATOR BEING, FEARLESS WITHOUT ENMITY, ( Divine love) TIMELESS AND FORMLESS, DOES NOT TAKE LIFE FORMS, SELF CREATED, IS REALIZED THROUGH THE ENLIGHTENMENT OF THE SHABD (Divine message)

      Read, listen and understand Gurbani. Realize His/Her virtues and try to control five vices. Live life with virtues. Happiness, Charhdi Kkala, Peace and Bliss will be on our way

      Sikhism does not accept the worship of photographs. Those who do not believe in one God, only go for multiple ones.

      Photographs are man made. How can these be God? Akal Purkh is everlasting and can never be destroyed.
      Sikhism believes in getting enlightenment with the help of Gurbani, so that we can have a happy and contented life.
