      ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭੈ ਊਜਲ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਲੁ ਜਾਏ ॥(SGGS,Ank 122)
      In this, ਭੈ/ fear means respectful fear.
      Meaning that whoever lives in fear of reverence for his Guru, always sings his praises, ie lives according to the Hukam given by his Parmaatma. In this way the ego is also removed from within that human being and the spiritual life also remains ever bright.

      ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਭੈ ਊਜਲ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਲੁ ਜਾਏ ॥(SGGS,Ank 122)
      ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੈ ਤੋਂ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੈ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਰੂਪੀ ਡਰ।
      ਭਾਵ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਰੂਪੀ ਡਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਭਾਵ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਊਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਹਊਮੈ ਵੀ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵੀ ਸਦਾ ਉਜਲਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
