Respected Prabh ji,
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
In response to your question, the undersigned wants to bring to your kind notice two Pangtis of a Shabad of first Guru person Guru Nanak Sahib, which is located at Panna 16 of Guru Granth Sahib.
Please note from the meanings of the Shabad that Guru Sahib is advising us not to wear such clothes, which are uncomfortable to the body and perverted thoughts come to anyone’s mind. So, the decision has to be taken by an individual himself/herself as to what to wear and what not to wear.
Hope this helps. If you have any further questions please do ask and if you find any deficiencies, please point out the same for improvement in future.
Regards,
Your Brother

No dress restrictions for Sikhs. If you have taken Amrit than you have to wear 5 Ks all the time respectfully so than some dress restrictions will apply. For example if i taken Amrit and I want to swim, or girls/women should not wear mini/short clothing, etc…
In my opinion, a Sikh ( man or woman) should always dress up gracefully.
