Thank you for asking a very pertinent question.

First of all, there is no such thing as Baptized Sikh. Baptized means initiated into Christianity, not Sikhi.
However, I know what you mean. For Sikh the normal term is AMRITDHARI KHALSA, or initiated Sikh is also used.
As per Gurbani, it is not the ceremony or some activity that makes a person a Sikh. It is one’s beliefs and actions that make a person a Sikh or not a Sikh.

      ਮ: ੩ ॥
Just going through the cermony does not make two people Husband and wife, Only when the two bodies are united, one, in spirit, they become husband and wife.

Even in Rehat Mayada, Sikh is recommended to take KHANDAY DI PAHUL (also termed Amrit) but not necessary condition to be a Sikh.

I agree with the answer of other scholar. To add, there are two types of Sikhs. One is a Sikh, other is Gursikh.
SGGS 669
Sevak Sikh Poojan Sabh Aavehi Sabh Gavehi Har Har Ootam Baanee || Gaaviaa Suniaa Tin Kaa Har Thae Pavai Jin Satgur Kee Aagia Sat Sat Kar Manee ||1||
All the Sikhs, disciples and followers come to worship and sing the sublime word (Bani) of the God. Singing and listening is of use only to those who actually obey the teachings of Guru.
It is clear now that there are two types of Sikhs. Those, who are only followers of the Guru. They come to the Guru in Gurudwara as a ritual but don’t listen and obey the instructions. Even Guru can’t help such followers. There are those who remember instructions of the Guru every moment of their life and live life accordingly. They are always in a blissful state and are called GurSikh.
So answer to your question is True Disciple is GurSikh.
      More clarification in my youtube.

As far as Sikhism or the Sikh religion is concerned, baptism ritual, or the commonly accepted term of Pahul Chakkana makes a person to be considered as a better Sikh. Without going through this ritual, one cannot hold many posts of Sikh clergy, glaring example being becoming a Jathedar of any of the five so called Takhats.

On the other hand Diwan TodarMal Jain proved to be a better Sikh than many other baptised or Amritdhari Khalsas who deserted the Tenth Master at the most critical situations of his life.
