Lately I’ve been facing lots of hard times in life.
But I always trust Waheguru.
At the same time a friend who noticed I was facing hard times said take atta to the Gurdwara and black dhal on certain days.
She said after this dhaan everything will get better.
I told her this was nonsense as I’ve never heard anything like this before.
Please advise me further and reassure me that my friend was wrong?

      Taking ATTA AND BLACK DAL to GURDWARA will certainly add to your problems and solve nothing. If you want to take something to GURDWARA is your MANN, MIND. Pray there for wisdom of GURU so that can empower you to deal with challenges of life.

      I recently put something similar up a few days ago as going through a difficult time too and feel my faith is being tested. But one thing im sure of is not listening to this kind of advice. As far as i understand, Sikhi forbids any of this.
      I empathise with you going through a hard time, but being so vulnerable …. we can be easy targets. Sikhi forbids all this nonsene and protects us from being exploited.
      My question has given some really good answers – have a look.
