Thank you so much for asking this question. There is more than one quotes from Gurbani about how to live within HUKAM, Order of the Creator. In fact, in the very first Pauri of Japp Bani (commonly known as Jap Ji Sahib). Shows the way of life is to live within HUKAM.
ਹੁਕਮਿ ਰਜਾਈ ਚਲਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥ (ਮ:੧, ਪੰ:੧)
Gurbani also tells us that, part of HUKAM is that:
ਜੋ ਆਇਆ ਸੋ ਚਲਸੀ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ਆਈ ਵਾਰੀਐ ॥ (ਮ:੧, ਪੰ:੪੭੪)
Everyone who is born is going to die. Everyone will have their turn.
What we need to know is that death is part of life and even we are going to die one day.
Death is part of the order of the Creator, HUKAM, and is irreversible activity. We must accept it and move on.
The hard part is to accept that the person has died and is not coming back. But then there is no alternative except to accept it and move on.
