      Those qualities which conform to the qualities of Akal Purkh should be adopted with the help of Gurbani written in Guru Granth Sahib.
      Those actions which takes us away from the Naam, Hukam, truth and system of Akal Purkh should not be adopted.

      ਫਰੀਦਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹੀ ਕੰਮੀ ਨਾਹਿ ਗੁਣ ਤੇ ਕੰਮੜੇ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ॥ ਮਤੁ ਸਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਥੀਵਹੀ ਸਾਂਈ ਦੈ ਦਰਬਾਰਿ ॥੫੯॥ – 1381

      We have to study all the Shabads related to a particular deed and then decide the course of action according to them.
