      The only appropriate way to read Shri Sukhmani Sahib is to read with your heart and understand the message. It is very important to bring the message to your consciousness and imbibe it in your character. You can also read the following article

      Whenever we study any subject we must understand that thoroughly so as to have maximum benefits of the topics. Similarly we must understand Gurbani and should be able to apply in our own life.

      There is no harm in studying in English. Simultaneously better to start learning Gurmukhi alphabet and reading Punjabi. You can learn Punjabi within a month. This will help in deeper understanding and you will be able to make your life successful.
