Guru Granth Sahib teaches the message of universal brotherhood.
ਸੋ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ॥ ਸੋ ਭਾਈ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ (੩੨੮)
As Dr. Singh said any human can follow SIKHI. It is about learning about who am I, realizing DIVINE WITHIN. GURU says PEHLA MARAN KABOOL JIWAN KEE CHHAD AAS meaning SIKHI is about killing our ego self and become one with THE DIVINE.
